The Hermitage School

Inspire, Learn, Achieve

Bags of Help

The Hermitage School are delighted to have been given the chance to participate in the Tesco 'Bags of help' community project. Tesco have teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores – being awarded to local community projects. The Hermitage School is raising money to purchase class sets of waterproof clothing so all children can participate in Outdoor Learning, whatever the weather.

Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores. We would like to encourage you to vote for The Hermitage School in store during May and June when deciding who should receive the awards. More information on the scheme is available at ww.tesco.com/bagsofhelp
