This afternoon, some of the Year 5 and 6 girls took part in a football festival at Sythwood Primary School.
This week The Hermitage boys' football team brought home their first trophy of the season, winning the St Andrew's Cup.

All the children were very excited when they learnt that real pieces of rock from the moon were coming to the school.
Year 6 had a fantastic week at Avon Tyrrell and enjoyed their time zip-lining, abseiling, kayaking , paddleboarding and much more.
The Year 5 children have enjoyed their trip to the Bushcraft residential. They camped out for 2 nights and learned some secrets to survival in the forest.
Across The Hermitage, children have been bouncing to raise money to invest in books for our school.
Some of our children from Year 4 were given the amazing opportunity to go to the opening of the Duchess of Cambridge's 'Back to Nature' Garden at Wisley Gardens.
The Hermitage School are delighted to have been given the chance to participate in the Tesco 'Bags of help' community project. Tesco have teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores – being awarded to local community projects. The Hermitage School is raising money to purchase class sets of waterproof clothing so all children can participate in Outdoor Learning, whatever the weather.
This week our Year 4 classes went on their residential trip to Hindleap Warren.
On Thursday 7th March 8 of our students visited the Natural History Museum in London to present the schools collaborative project as part of the final 17!
